Working closely with our clients and with Michael Duchesne as our Musical Director and lead vocalist, we can promise you that Michael will effortlessly craft his performance to ensure he sets the perfect atmosphere, tailoring his sound to fit the mood throughout each part of your day. With an extensive repertoire and over 8 years of experience performing for corporate and private events as well as for for hundreds of happy couples, 

Michael brings a level of professionalism and quality to his craft that makes him one Sydney's most sought after performers.

 

Whether it's with his smooth and earthy vocals as you or your bride walks down the aisle, setting a chilled atmosphere for your guests as they relax, or bringing the house down with all your favourite tunes, Michael and our Vintage Parlour House band side a collective made up of some of Sydney's best musicians, will bring more than what it takes to make sure every moment of your event leaves your colleagues, family & friends with sore legs with, full hearts and unforgettable memories!

Michael Duchesne

Singer, song-writer and guitarist, Michael Duchesne (du-shane), is described by many as a powerful, distinctive and engaging performer; from his delivery to his vocal tone and guitar work right down to his songwriting. Michael's musical influences stem from soul music as the cornerstone of his genre bending sound, however, it's his unique tone and powerful vocal ability that effortlessly commands attention

In 2011, Michael opened for internationally acclaimed soul musician Eric Bennet, performed the Manly Jazz Festival in 2013 & 2015, opened for Hot Chocolate’s 2014 Australia tour, and played the opening act on the International Stage at Soulfest Sydney 2014. Since 2014, Michael has toured with 2014 Australia's Got Talent Winners, Uncle Jed, opened for soul singer Vivien Sessoms and has performed as lead singer for blues & rock band, Mogadishu Family Band. 

Michael has also worked in studio along side bands and artists such as RÜFÜS, Luna Grand and most recently, Cold Chisel legend Ian Moss, who he also joined on his big band return tour in 2018 and again in 2019, performing both guitar and vocals  and performing  for the first time along side Australian Idol winner Ricki-Lee, singing duets in big theatres across the country.

RICKI-LEE & MICHAEL DUET

A master of Reggae, Soul, Funk, Jazz and Pop, Emily Hanks is an efficianado when it comes to vocal prowess. Her creative flair for improvisation and her ability to always be able to read a crowd will always have you on the edge of your seat, wanting more. Her voice has been described as, 'listening to honey coated velvet'. 

Currently, as one of the most sought-after performers within the Sydney music scene, you will see her regularly performing most nights of week. As a versatile performer, you might catch her at an intimate acoustic duo gig in one of Sydney's hippest bars or fronting a ten piece big band for a corporate event, and everything in between. 

As a performer she has graced the stage of many of Sydney's prestigious venues and events including; performances at Thredbo Jazz Festival, Soulfest, the official Earth Hour 2013 event with Peter Garrett, Telstra Stadium singing the national anthem for the Rugby World Cup, The Morning Show on Channel 7 singing backing vocals for Stan Walker (2013), and also singing backing vocals at the 2012 Aria Week celebrations for Jason Derulo's signed artist - Arlene Zelina. 

As a writer she has had songs published on both Warner Music and Ministry of Sound labels. She has recently top lined a #8 chart topping remix of 'Horses' produced by Tmrw Land's artists, Teddy Cream and co-wrote In Stereo's 'Good Time' of their Album 'She's Rock and Roll' Which went to number 2 on the Australian Artist Album Charts. 

Her charisma is infectious, her voice is way beyond her years and one thing's for sure she will always light a fire under your feet to get any party started.
